Stark kristen prägel när Charles III kröntes till kung

Kristna traditioner och bibliska referenser tog stor plats när Charles III svor kungaeden vid kröningsceremonin i lördags. Bland annat läste landets hinduiske premiärminister Rishi Sunak ur Kolosserbrevet.– Han har frälst oss från mörkrets välde och fört oss in i sin älskade Sons rike, läste han.

På lördagen kröntes Charles III till kung av Storbritannien och det brittiska samväldet i den traditionella kröningskyrkan Westminster Abbey i London. Detta vid en ceremoni som präglades av många kristna inslag och som bland annat sändes av SVT.
